Job Position:  Intern – Application Engineering

Experience: Fresher

Location:  Talegaon, Pune

Approx Monthly Stipend: Rs. 15000/Month (B.E/ B. Tech), Rs. 20000/Month (M.E/ M.

Qualification: Bachelor in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Chemical Engineering with throughout 60% and above or equivalent CGPA with no year down.

Job Purpose      

  • “The Application Engineer takes an active role in bid management, including selection of valve based on industrial application, sizing of actuator, selection of Pneumatic accessories and pricing of all Isolation valve products and field equipment based on the customer requirement.
  • The main task of the Application Engineer is to act as a technical expert during the quotation phase to support  customer by offering best product/solution suitable for the given application, working in liaison with  Sales team, Business development managers, factory and Inside sales team in respective countries. He or she will be supporting any of the Emerson Overseas Sales offices. “

 

Key Responsibilities:                                    

  • Work closely with internal and external customer to understand their requirements and propose the best possible solution for the given application/Project.
  • Provide technical support to all customers, business partners and distributers.
  • Ensure project requirments are reviewd properly and seek clarifcations and approvals from respective stake holderds before submitting the offer to customer.
  • Should be systematic and an assertive character. He/she must be able to manage complex situations under pressure.
  • Ensure ontime submission of offer, along with DOA (Delegation of Authority) process compliance.

 

Technical Skills / Knowledge Required :                                 

  • Good knowledge in Fluid Mechanicis, filed instrument components, Material science, Basic instrumenation & Strength of Material
  • Effective listener and excellent communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and Power point).
  • Analytical Skills
